2014年3月21日中国耐火材料行业协会2014年工作会议暨会员代表(理事扩大)会议在郑州嵩山饭店召开，共有160多家企业近200名代表参加了会议。
会议由徐殿利常务副会长主持，工信部原材料司巡视员吕桂新参加会议并作了重要讲话，中国耐火材料行业协会会长刘百宽代表中国耐火材料行业协会常务理事会作了2013年度协会工作报告，徐殿利常务副会长做了《2013年全国耐火材料行业生产运行情况及2014年耐火材料市场预测分析》的报告，会议还审议了协会2013年会费收支和2014年会费支出预算报告、吸收新会员及关于协会相关机构人事调整等议案。
2013年我国共生产2928.25万吨耐火材料，同比增加3.88%，其中致密定形耐火制品产量1730.71万吨，保温隔热耐火制品产量55.73万吨，不定形耐火制品产量1141.81万吨;全国耐火材料进出口贸易额32.24亿美元，其中出口贸易额29.92亿美元，同比降低7.34%，进口贸易额2.32亿美元，同比增长7.26%。
